My Hopes for World Education Games 2013
Hello there! Indonesia calling again!
How is everyone out there? Hoping you’re all fine and maybe some of you feeling great after making it into the Hall of Fame in one or two or all three amazing events this year: World Maths Day, World Spelling Day and World Science Day.
There are so many schools and countries participating! Anyway, it’s better for the oldies or youngsters (and teenagers) to play in this game once a year rather than thinking on the negative side. This is one of the most exciting games I’ve played in for the last two years!
As I said before, are there any other school subjects that wanna sign up for World Education Games 2013?
Let’s Do The Afterparty After the Party!
Hello guys! How are you? Indonesia calling AGAIN! For the second time today.
This time, again, I wanna sing. Maybe this song will be perfect for the afterparty:
“‘Cause tonight, tonight we’ll go from party to party
And spend all our money, ’cause we’re not gonna live forever
And tonight, tonight, we’ll go from party to party
Just forget about sleeping, ’cause we’re not gonna live forever
‘Cause we’re gonna live forever”
(this song is a Finnish preselection song for Eurovision Song Contest 2011 by Jimi Constantine. The actual song title is “Party to Party”).
Actually, we didn’t spend all our money for this amazing contest. And maybe some of us always struggling and forget sleeping (impossible, ha, ha!). Because we have a big spirit to bring at World Education Games: Uniting the World in Learning!
By the way, after the big Spelling, Mathematics, and Science party, we will do the afterparty. What will we do to celebrate the afterparty after the Education Party? Maybe there are ones…to celebrate the amount of question numbers answered correctly! Maybe the amount will break the Guinness World Record, or even some bigger records! Participants are increasing year by year, and almost half population of the world (student population) is having a party at World Education Games!
And this time I gonna sing again.
“Celebrate the day, the day, the da-a-a-a-a-a-ay
Celebrate the day, the day, the da-a-a-a-a-a-ay
Celebrate the day!”
(this song above was one of the official songs at 2006 FIFA World Cup by Herbert Grönemeyer titled “Celebrate the Day”).
And we are celebrating the day! I think it should be “celebrating the days”. Because we are celebrating the education. And don’t forget that this celebration also means something. Something that I mean here is, to help the poor people. UNICEF also cooperates with World Education Games for this thing. Greatly awesome!
Oh! As the closing, let I sing again. (too much singing…because of the songs are related to celebrations and…wow…).
“So gimme a high five
For now is the time to celebrate
Time for a game
Time for a fame
Time for a marching parade
We’re kicking a party
And I know it’s just gonna be great
Time for a game
Time for a time
Time for a marching parade
Joy parade”
(the song above is the official song of EuroBasket 2011 by Marijonas Mikutavicius, Mantas, and Mia titled “Celebrate Basketball”)
And the Education Party is OVER after one month struggling for practice and three days struggling for the actual games. I think there should be afterparty…maybe at Mathletics or Spellodrome’s official website.
We’ve Got the Whole World in the Event!
Ahah. Hello there! Indonesia is calling!
Again, this is me calling. I wanna sing in this post, let’s see which song that I’ll sing.
“We’ve got the whole world in our hands.
We’ve got the whole world in our hands.
We’ve got the whole world in our hands.
We’ve got the whole world in our hands”
(maybe that song above is from soccer supporter’s songs and chants).
And let’s change the lyrics…see:
“We’ve got the whole world in the event.
We’ve got the whole world in the event.
We’ve got the whole world in the event.
We’ve got the whole world in the event.”
When I change the lyrics, maybe this games makes it all. As I said in previous post by me, the world is going to unite! No matter who are you, from which school you are, or from where are you, we are competing and having fun together as one. And don’t forget that we are in the digital era. About 2 more hours ’til the World Education Games officially end. But, there is more excitement to come. Maybe for those who can’t wait for the next year’s campaign!
From this event, there are still way to make peace between some ongoing conflicts. With this game, we are encouraged to respect each other, and then….keep the spirit on unless you have almost no hopes, after that…there are many more! Even you can go on to the friendship after all. And yeah. I have a question for the rest of school subjects (excluding Maths, Science, and English (spelling in this case)): are you interested to join World Education Games for next year’s campaign? (hope some of the school subjects signing up for this! =D ).
Thank you World Education Games for bringing such a moment…an unforgettable moment that we celebrate over the world. ONE MORE: Bring the world to the biggest education party of the world, so we are going to party! =D

Celebrating World Education Games In Indonesia
Hello world! This is Indonesia calling!
~
I think I should give high points to World Education Games (maybe 12 points like in Eurovision song contest, he, he) for this reason: this helps me a lot! Especially World Maths Day. My calculations are not usually accurate, but this game helps me to be more accurate on calculating, so, hopefully this will make me careful when doing maths.
~
I’m a big fan of spelling bees and World Spelling Day is more interesting to join! I think this is the (virtual) “world-scale spelling bee” featuring all the world spellers as one. (PS: World spellers competing to win a World Champions title at spelling in this case, wow! Looks amazing).
~
World Science Day – This campaign is new, because this starts in 2012. The system looks amazing, too!
~
I think there could also be many subjects that we could add in like History, Geography, or even Linguistics?
~
The World Education Games usually occur at the beginning of March, and this is also sounds great, too! Let the celebration keep alive, and don’t forget to invite the whole world to celebrate World Education Games! Good luck to all the participants, wish you all the best during the celebration! Cheers!
