Gee, Ambassador seems like a never ending job!
The Games are well over, with medals being presented globally. The lead up events for the 2013 games have started, with Vihangi R well ahead in Day 1 of the On Your Marks Maths Challenge, going on as I write.
Also, well done to Yousuf M, 18,553 points, Syed M, 18,195 points, and Mohammad A with 18,104 with their sucess in The Middle East Maths Challenge.
In the European Maths Challenge, great work to Sarp Cagin E, with 18,824, Alp Ugur K, 18,567, and Ikra Ceylin S finishing with 18,463.
I still have to wait until August/September for my event, but I’m sure that you are all having fun back on Mathletics, Spellodrome and IntoScience now.
See you soon,
Wow! 18000 people online when I last looked. The Mathometer is skyrocketing!
Today at my school we had a UNICEF fundraiser where we dressed up as anything to do with maths or our WEG avatar, there were some great costumes. We managed to raise $150 for the school in a box program. This is a great effort as we are not a big school. Thankyou everyone!
I have been looking at some of the high scores, aren’t they amazing! Everyone is working so hard to answer more questions than last year.
Keep up the good work everybody but most of all have fun!
Hello students of the world!
Over the last week I have been pretty busy! I have been putting posters up around the school! We also have students with numbers of answers in the thousands! On Wednesday I am holding a dress up day for our school to fundraiser for UNICEF and their School in a Box program! I have been practicing pretty hard (3000 questions an evening) and my skills are coming along nicely, and I hope yours are too!
This week I am going to be on TV! That’ll be really exciting! My school has recently been downloading Unity Web Player so we can all play World Science Day!
You don’t have to be a genius to play in the WEG, just play it for fun!
Good luck to everyone and remember it’s all about fun!

Good luck in the games everybody. Go Team Australia!
