Greetings from Brussels!

Hello!

This is Francesco writing to you from Brussels, Belgium, home of the Tintin comics, Lucky Luke and the Smurfs. Belgium is also famous for delicious chocolate. One of my favorites is Pierre Marcolini. I am going to the Cote d’or chocolate factory soon on a school field trip and it will be delicious. More importantly though, I enjoy participatiFrancesco WEGng in the World Education Games!

I attend St. John’s International School in Waterloo, Belgium. I am also the creator and editor of the school newspaper. I like reading, writing and creating stories. I think the World Education Games are very fun and competitive. The games are great because they also support the United Nations International Childrens’ Fund. UNICEF helps poor children get a good education. I think everyone should donate money to UNICEF! In our school when we win certificates on Mathletics, we donate some money to go with it and give it to our teacher who is the organizer of WEG at our school.  The money goes to UNICEF and you get a prize! Then everyone is happy.

My belief is that children around the world should have a good education and live a healthy life and be as fortunate as we are. Don’t forget that the World Education Games also helps make learning fun!

I really want the world to have fun and learn at the same time! We will not forget UNICEF, of course. I hope everyone has a good time! I am very excited! I also encourage the whole world to try their best!

I hope you like my blog! It is my first one.

Bye and good luck in the World Education Games.

Francesco
