Meet Malaysian Ambassador Edwin
Greetings from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!
I am Edwin, one of the 3 Malaysian ambassadors for the World Education Games 2012! For the past 3 years, I have represented Cempaka Schools Damansara both as an individual and as part of a team. But this year, the extra duty of an ambassador has been added to my plate. Personally, I have a passion for mathematics and I have been excitedly anticipating World Maths Day 2012. And I am also excited to be participating in World Spelling and Science Day this year as well.
For the past 3 years, I am proud to say Cempakans has blazed the trail for Malaysians, in general, to strive to do well in the World Education Games. Cempaka Schools has done well in preparing me, my team and my school for WEG 2012. On my own personal account, the best feeling so far was in 2009, when our team of underdogs became World #1’s for the first time and hitting the one million point mark! And since then, we’ve all been hard at work, practicing every moment we can and our teachers have sacrificed precious lesson time so we can get the extra round or two.
Out of all my experiences as an ambassador so far, the event most notable to me was my official installation as ambassador. Mr McMahon paid a special visit to our campus and we held a special assembly in accordance with his arrival and my installation. On a side note, I am loving the brand new Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1 that was so generously presented to me. My classmate and, now former, ambassador of WEG, Farah Ellyza bid her adieu to her ambassadorship and passed her proverbial torch to me and I plan to carry out my duties to the best of my ability as an individual, team player and ambassador.
My team and I will anxiously be anticipating the challenges that await us this year and we definitely have our eyes on the top spots on the leaderboard, much like previous years. As defending champions of the world, We Are Ready. Are you? See you all on March 6th for the start of World Education Games 2012!

Fly the flag as high as you can, for Cempaka and Malaysia!
Go England!!
Yay!! GO Malaysia
